How to Disable Windows 8.1 Lock Screen (Easy Step)
This tutorial is for all users who don't like to be prompted with the Windows 8.1 lock screen.
One you are finished with this guide the lock screen will be permanently disabled, usless you re-enable it.
Step 1.. Editing Group Policy editor:
The First, Press the "Windows Key + R" on your keyboard to open Run window, then type gpedit.msc
and click OK to open Group Policy Editor.
This Local Group Policy Editor is only available in the Pro version of Windows 8.1.
Step 2.. In the Local Group Policy Editor go to:
Computer Configuration->Administrative Templates->control Panel->Personalization
Step 3.. In right pane, double-click "Do not display the lock screen" policy and set it to "Enabled"
Step 4.. Now click on Apply then OK. That's it. it'll immediately disable the lock screen in Windows 8.1
Step 5.. If you want to enable lock screen again, set the value to Not configured.
One Way
This method is for users who don't have the Pro Version of Windows 8.1
Step 1.. Press the "Windows key + R" on your keyboard to open Run window, then type regedit and click OK.
to open Registry Editor.
Step 2.. In the registry Editor g to:
HKEY_LOCAL_MACHINE->SOFTWARE->Policies->Microsoft->Windows->Personalization
